Karate and Art of Self Defence Course

Duration : One year
30 sessions (each session 2 hours)
1 or 2 days orientation workshop (4 sessions of 2 hours)

Rules and Regulations

Our association has its own style of organisation, training, evaluation, grading procedures.
Misusing this art of Karate is a very grave offence and not allowed.
Showing off, and bullying around are strictly prohibited.
Teaching this art without permission is not allowed.
Proper attendance is a prime requisite for appearing in the belt examination.
Leave, discontinuation and resignation must be obtained with prior permission from the Secretary.

Very great emphasis is laid on respect to the Art of Self Defence, association, Sensei (Master), seniors and belt.
Rowdies and persons with a very bad character will not be allowed to learn the Art of Self Defence.
The decision of the Chief Instructor on all matters concerning teaching, grading and disciplinary actions shall be final.
Wearing ornaments, smoking and growing long nails on fingers and toes are strictly prohibited inside the Dojo (Practicing Hall).
The person who joins the Art of Self Defence course should stitch a proper white Gee (Dress) within 2 months from his/her date of joining.

Method Of Teaching

The course includes Karate and ‘Art of Self Defence’ and Meditation. The training will be conducted according to the age and skill of each individual.
Very great emphasis is given to deep concentration, discipline, patience, tolerance and self control.
Karate and the Art of Self Defence coaching is aimed at the gradual development of physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual activities.
The course includes both the theoretical and practical classes.
Modern teaching tools such as video, cassette clippings of Japanese and German experts and technical analysis are utilized.

Grading (Examination) Structure

Prescribed level of attendance is a prerequisite for attending the examination. The examination will consist of both Theory and Practical. Successful candidates will be awarded authorized certificates and belts.
